Traditional Malta souvenirs are the Maltese Lace, Silver Filigree, Mdina Glass. Below though, I choose places which stand out and offer something a bit more unique.
Hollywood - Oġġetti Sbieħ. Curated by my friend and local designer Thomas. One of the true gems in terms of souvenirs in Malta.

Chocolate District. Their homemade chocolate with white olive oil, or sea salt, or (for the adventurous) Maltese cheese, can make a great gift to bring back home.
Auberge Jewellers. Revitalising the traditional Maltese craft of silver filigree. Actually made by locals in store.
il-lokal. Literally means "the local". Highlighting local artists and their creations. Truly one of the most unique and artisan souvenir shops in Malta.
