Getting to the 3 Cities

Logistics

Length: 2 hours.

Price: Pay what you want. (€10 per person is a good rule of thumb) If you pay more, it is much appreciated 🙏

We will spend roughly 1 hours in Vittoriosa (Birgu), a very short time in Cospicua (Bormla), and the last half an hour to 45 minutes in Senglea (Isla).

Meeting Location

We are going to meet at the Birgu Water Taxi Station (in BIRGU). Close by there are benches under trees. I will be in this area. Google Maps location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/bVpxDZP8hwb6tQey9

Please ask for "Ben" 😊

If there is no more slots on that date & time, please check my FreeTour.com booking page.

If some dates in the future are not available it's because I generally make booking available a month in advance - to avoid unnecessary cancellations (which are rare).

Getting to the 3 Cities

From Valletta (by sea) you can catch the Valletta-3 Cities ferry, if the weather allows it to run. You can check if the ferry is running or its schedule over here: vallettaferryservices.com/

From Valletta (by sea) you can also catch the small boats (€2). They are usually faster, and I use them more often. Again weather permitting. It can be a very fun experience too!

To get to the Valletta-3 Cities ferry or the small boats from Valletta, either go to the Upper Barrakka Gardens and take the lift down (€1) or go through Victoria Gate and walk south along the coast until you reach the ferry departure point.

From Valletta (by land) you can catch the following buses: 2, 3, 4. Stop at the bus stop RICHE. From there you can walk down to the starting point.

From Sliema/St Julian's/Gżira (public transport) take any bus to Valletta, however get off at the Bombi stop, go through the subway (underground passage) and go to the BOMBI 3 bus stop, and catch the buses mentioned before: 2, 3, 4. Stop at the bus stop Riche. The trip might take 45 mins or so, if nothing goes wrong.

Maybe the best bet for those not in Valletta might be using the taxi apps: Bolt, eCabs, Uber.
