Gentle reminder that the 3 Cities includes: Birgu/Vittoriosa, Bormla/Cospicua, Isla/Senglea. We started our 3 Cities tour in Birgu/Vittoriosa, we then passed Bormla/Cospicua, and ended in Isla/Senglea.
You can see/save the entire list on Google Maps here: Google Maps BenGoodTour 3 Cities Food & Drinks Recommendations. Otherwise keep scrolling for more context and details 😊
All links will take you to the Google Maps location of highlighted place.
AcquaBlu, Novità, and Enchanté are all great restaurants situated on the eastern side of Isla/Senglea. Novità in particular is very highly-rated, and together with Enchanté, you can get a table right next to the edge of the coast overlooking the sea.
You are actually spoiled for choice in this area and there are many good restaurants along the coast of Isla such as: Il Pirata, and Tal-Barklor.
Tar-Rixu, while not as highly-rated as the previous restaurants is charming to me, as it's much more "down to earth" than the others and focuses on simple food with good ingredients. The owner is also the chef which gives it a special "homemade" quality to it.
San Giorgio, a great restaurant that is situated in one of the main squares in Bormla.
Tal-Petut, takes making Maltese food very seriously, taking care how it sources ingredients and presents the food. Is a bit pricier, and situated in the heart of the old part of Birgu.
d Centre, again not as highly-rated as its fellow restaurants, but it holds a special place in my heart as it focuses on simple Maltese food and more "down to earth".
Full House, a Polish restaurant, with passionate owners, quiet location, and good prices.
Taste of Vietnam, a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant. Good food and good service.
Champ Pastizzeria, a good pastizzi place. Always good if you want something tasty, filly, and affordable.
SottoZero, very good icecream and sweets place.
If you haven't seen the 3 Cities, I strongly recommend it, and I humbly put forward my 3 Cities Free Walking Tour.
